To paint or not to paint? I love this image, although I am wondering how practical painted floors are. Has anyone been brave enough to do this? I'd be interested to hear about it.
The sun is finally shining today - someone must have given Mother Nature the tip off that Spring has been with us now for a month. Let's hope the sunshine continues....

I am looking at this at the moment! I got an option for choc floor boards at over $250 a square metre!! My goodness... THinking cheaper painted boards may be much better for my bank balance! xx

I've never tried painting floors but they look fabulous! Leigh
I love the look of this but have no idea how I would achieve it or maintain it...would you use a limewash? Best on pine boards? I am not sure how 'real' families would live with this, certainly my household of muddy-shoed people and dogs would test its attractiveness. Although I could be persuaded to try it in one pristine room!
